I figured that my distance running background would help with the endurance needed for rowing, so I gave it a shot. What made you want to become a rower… I have always enjoyed watching rowing on TV, even from a young age, and I thought about trying it out once I got to college. As a runner, my performance was always based on how hard I pushed myself however, now I have even more motivation to work harder because I know I cannot let my teammates down.
